Study: Europe ill-prepared for Russian drone attacks

A recent study by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), supported by Germany's Hanns Seidel Foundation, reveals that European nations are significantly underprepared for potential drone attacks, particularly from Russia. The report, covering 144 incidents across 12 NATO member states and Ireland between August 2024 and February 2026, concludes there is a high likelihood of a Kremlin-orchestrated UAV campaign over Europe.
