Owlcat Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming sci-fi RPG, *The Expanse: Osiris Reborn*, during Gamescom's Find Your Next Game showcase. The trailer reveals the appearance of Project Caliban, a prominent foe from *The Expanse* TV show and books, showing players facing Protogen's forces and human-Protomolecule hybrids inspired by Season 2 of the TV series. The Protomolecule's depiction in the game takes inspiration from the glowing blue version seen in the show, rather than the book's brownish substance. The trailer also offers a look at the female player-character, "the Captain," exploring a Protogen facility on Ganymede. Owlcat Games has recast the male lead's voice acting role following complaints after the game's April 2026 beta test. *The Expanse: Osiris Reborn* is expected to launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in Q2 2027 and is available to wishlist on Steam.
